Every month we help over 100+ people create sound and profitable business strategies and plans to help launch their own small business.
This short course runs over 8 week and includes live virtual workshops with our expert trainers and Business Mentors, plus on demand tutoring support when you need it.
Whether you have an exciting business idea or currently operate a small business, this workshop can help you turn your business dreams into a reality.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to take the next step with their new business idea and get expert advice to shape it into a business plan. It is also ideal for any existing small business owners who could benefit from some extra business advice and guidance to plan their current business operations.

You may be eligible for this course under the Workforce Australia – Self-Employment Assistance program where all training and support are at no cost to you.

Program Details
This is an entry-level course, and no previous skills or experience are necessary.
While there are no specific entry requirements, participants are required to take the language, literacy, and numeracy skills (LLN) assessment. It will help us understand how we can assist you in any areas where you may need help while studying with us.
Computer with access to the Internet and with the ability to conduct video interviews. Minimum specifications for your computer are:
- Microsoft Windows 7 or later or Mac OS X or above
- Microsoft Office
- Up-to-date internet browser
- You may also need access to a printer and the following applications
- Adobe Acrobat reader (free download)
- Adobe Flash player (free download)
Mobile video recording device i.e., a mobile phone that can record short video at a workplace with a supervisor.
Participants who are enrolled in the BSBSS00102 Micro Business Skill Set will attain this Skill Set including the following units on successful completion of this module.

Course Duration and Delivery
The 12 month program commences with an 8 week ‘Business planning bootcamp’ including LIVE online webinars and tutoring support to kick start turning your business idea into a sound and viable business plan.
After the initial 8 weeks of workshops you then have the flexibility to progress to other modules of the course with self paced learning, online activities, and have access to on-demand support as required.
