Workforce Australia – Employability Skills Training
The Employability Skills Training is a program for Participants aged 15 years and over, providing you with highly personalised, pre-employment training. We will waive the $300 fee for Block 2 activities for all Workforce Australia and Transition to Work referrals.
Employability Skills Training gives you the opportunity to enhance your employability through three different programs. You can choose to participate in all programs on offer.
You will understand the expectations of employers in both the recruitment process and as a new employee in the workplace.

Three programs to help you learn the skills to get and keep a job
We offer three different programs for you to gain new skills and assist you to get a new job. You can choose to participate in all programs on offer.
Our three programs on offer are:
• My Brand: Develop your job search profile
• Career Explorer: Discover career options
• Career Starter: Closely look at a specific job

Can I try a program before I enrol?
Yes! Trying a program provides an excellent opportunity for you to meet your Trainer and connect with other Participants to evaluate whether this course is right for you.
Fee waiver for the $300 contribution
We will waive the $300 fee for Block 2 activities for all Workforce Australia and Transition to Work referrals.

About the programs
In each program, you will receive a total of 75 hours of support. Full-time programs are 25 hours per week over three weeks. Part-time programs are 15 hours per week over five weeks.
You may be eligible to enrol in a program if you are:
- Aged 15 years and over, and
- Engaged in either Workforce Australia Services, Workforce Australia Online, Transition to Work or Disability Employment Services.
