Workforce Australia – Career Transition Assistance
The Career Transition Assistance program is for Participants aged 45 years or over, providing practical assistance to build your confidence and skills to become more competitive in the local labour market.
The program aims to increase your job readiness by identifying your transferable skills and better target your job search to local industries and available jobs.
You will receive support to reskill, develop digital skills, and tailor your resume, cover letters and job applications to local employers, empowering you to become employable, sooner.

About the program
In this program, you will receive a minimum of 75 hours of support, with small group workshops, industry experiences, plus one-on-one coaching with your Trainer. Subject to availability, we schedule programs that run over 6 weeks. Please refer to the individual Activity information when booking for a detailed course schedule.
Eligibility
You may be eligible to enrol in the program if you are:
- Aged 45 years or older, and
- Engaged in either Workforce Australia Services, Workforce Australia Online or Disability Employment Services.
