Short Course Overview
Our Individual Support Short Course is aimed at providing you with the skills and knowledge for success in the growing community services industry.
We have strong links with employers who are looking to recruit quality staff.
To work in this industry you will be required to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
To enrol you will need to attend our information session so we can assess your suitability.
What you will learn
- How to communicate, collaborate and report in a health and community service environment.
- How to respond in an emergency situation.
- How to apply first aid procedures and communicate the details of incidents.
After completing this course, you can continue to study a Certificate III in Individual Support to get a full qualification.

Short Course Course Structure
This Short Course is a nationally recognised qualification.
Participants need to complete 3 units of competency.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for Participants undertaking nationally recognised training (qualifications, accredited courses, skill sets and units of competency) unless exempt.
This includes international Participants studying in Australia. If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
