
Course Overview
A Certificate III in Hospitality equips participants with the vital skills and knowledge for a career in a variety of hospitality settings, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels and catering companies.
Participants will receive practical assistance in food preparation, and customer service skills.
They will also be taught operational tasks including managing finance.
Successful completion of this qualification will achieve a Nationally Recognised Certificate.

How to deliver fundamental customer service to both internal and external customers.

How to access, interpret and use information about employment, education, training and the labour market in Australia.
Food preparation
How to prepare and present a limited range of simple menu items following standard recipes.
Processing finances
How to accept and process cash and other payments for products and services, and reconcile takings at the end of the service period or day.

Entry Requirements
Participants are required to be competent in English and will undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) prior to commencing the training.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for Participants undertaking nationally recognised training (qualifications, accredited courses, skill sets and units of competency) unless exempt.
This includes international Participants studying in Australia. If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
