AETS are excited to announce we are an approved provider for delivery of the Nationally Recognised Qualification CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) under the Rapid Response – Careers in Aged Care and Disability Support Program funded by Skills Tasmania on behalf of the Minister for Skills, Training and Workforce Growth. Cert III in Individual Support
This program provides individuals who are unemployed, have been made redundant, are underemployed or are employed in other industries the opportunity to change career and transition into careers as aged care or disability support workers.
The Rapid Response program is funding essential qualifications for those looking for a rewarding career in Aged Care and Disability, with fee-free training now available to learners.
The aged care and disability sector is one of Tasmania’s fastest growing industries employing more than 40,000, and it is estimated we will need almost 4,400 more people to take up these aged and disability care roles over the next three years.
These careers provide valuable services and help people who need support, and I would like to thank all those individuals who are making a real difference in the daily lives of so many Tasmanians.
